Gary has over 20 years experience in the real estate development industry, including serving as President of CGC Builders Inc., a medium sized privately held real estate Development Company headquartered in Orange County from the mid 1980’s through early 2000. During that period Gary developed, built and marketed over 450 homes and 750 apartments throughout the Los Angeles and Orange Counties, and the Central Coast of California. His company’s contribution to the improvement of distressed properties and the creation of affordable and workforce housing has been recognized by the Mayor and City Council of Santa Ana, California.
Gary attended Eastern Arizona College and the University of Arizona and holds a degree in Architecture. He was selected as the 2006 Builder of the Year on the Central Coast and served 2007 President of the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast.
Gary and his wife Jane are trustees of 7 Oaks Charities, their Foundation dedicated to the support of various Central Coast charities that provide emergency medical care for children, create children’s after school programs in the arts and sciences, and support other child related organizations. Among these local charities are PCPA Theaterfest, Arts Outreach, Inc., Vikings Charities Inc., 7 Oaks Charities, Inc., Therapeutic Riding, Inc., and Cottage Hospital Charities, Inc.
