Wes Willhoit, senior vice president of Estrella Associates, Inc., is responsible for project design, site development, and vertical construction for the company. He has 11 years of comprehensive experience managing real estate development and construction projects. Wes holds two California Contractor’s Licenses: General Engineering and General Building. In addition to serving as the Home Builders Association of the Central Coast second vice president, he also sits on their Government Affairs Committee

Through his involvement with a range of Estrella-developed projects, Wes has gained a sound knowledge for leading design professionals in the creation of construction documents. Wes led the team that achieved LEED Gold Precertification for River Oaks Center, which was the first LEED Core & Shell building on the Central Coast. River Oaks Center was also awarded the ICF Builder – Best Light Commercial project in February 2010. In 2005, The Cottages, a 90-home planned unit development, was awarded the American PolySteel Production Builder Project of the Year award. All 90 of these homes are also ComfortWise certified, a third party energy efficiency/quality construction inspection and certification program.
