VoterVOICE
VoterVOICE is a web-based e-mail system that will help us efficiently notify our members and their employees, coalition partners and other housing advocates when a local board of supervisors, city council or planning commission will be considering an issue that will impact housing in that area.

VoterVOICE will allow us to level the playing field and do a more effective job of communicating among ourselves and with local office holders. It will let the home building industry show government how many people work in this industry and support more housing in their community. Political decisions are often based on how many constituents contact an official. Government will now hear more from us than our opponents.

To view active advocacy campaigns and/or register, please visit our Action Center!

Inclusionary Housing Principles
The Home Builders Association and the San Luis Obispo Housing Trust Fund negotiated
“Joint Policy Statement: San Luis Obispo County’s Housing Crisis and Inclusionary Housing Principles”
this as a communication tool to inform local decision-makers and
the general public on the steps that are needed to produce a full-range of housing
opportunities we need to remain a healthy and diverse community.

Obtaining Temporary Electric Power

The Home Builders Association has worked with Pacific Gas & Electric to create a
