2010 Food Drive

 

Did you know that giving $1 to the Food Bank can buy 12 pounds of food?

 

Join HBACC in raising money for this year's annual food drive!

 

Personal Challenge: Drop $1 (or $5) in the donation box at every HBACC event until June 3,2010*

*Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County: One Dollar One Day Event.

 

Corporate Challenge: Donate $100 from your organization at any time until June 3, 2010

 

For each company that donates $100, HBACC will include their name in the Public Affairs section of the HBA Central Coast Builder Online for 2010. The sooner you donate, the more time your name will appear in 2010!

 

2010 Blood Drive

 

Every three seconds, someone needs blood. Every day, we need at least 270 blood donors to care for those in need in our community.

 

Personal Challenge: Give blood at your local blood bank and tell them you are donating as a member of the HBACC. HBACC will coordinate with United Blood Services to keep track of our giving. Eligible donors can give every 8 weeks!

 

Corporate Challenge: One person from every HBACC member company joins us at the 2-day Annual Blood Drive Event. (details TBD)
