About The HBACC & Membership Benefits
We are a 501(C)(6) trade association representing the building industry, all related trades and professions in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties for more than 30 years.
The HBACC monitors and engages in advocacy on behalf of the Membership and Builders to keep fees realistic, regulations reasonable, and our industry building on both the local and state level.
We provide opportunities for our members to host/attend educational seminars, gain up-to-date news on trends and potential issues, network and make valuable business contacts.

The foundation of our organization is built upon the work of HBACC volunteers like you. The best way to learn more about us is to get involved, serve on a Committee, volunteer at an event, and eventually serve on our Board of Directors. Committees include Government Affairs, Membership, Events, and Finance.
Our committees work closely with our Board and Executive Director to recommend policy on regulatory and legislative issues, recruit & retain members, plan programs & events, and achieve work set forth in our Strategic plan.
